How does it work?
Depends on what you need..
You might prefer a one-off coaching consultation or a series of 2 or 3 open coaching consultations, providing general guidance and practical support. The agenda is very much steered by you and where our sessions take us ..
Or you may have a specific career transition challenge; like overhauling your CV, using LinkedIn, creating a search plan, getting started or even getting unstuck. There are specific consultations to help overcome these challenges.
These are bespoke services customised to suit where YOU are at in your career transition and the challenges YOU face. In every case Ginnie provides the services on a one-to-one basis – certainly, no password required!
If you’d like to find out more about how it works ..
Is Ginnie a Coach, Mentor, Strategist, Trainer, Problem Solver or Sounding Board?
Ginnie is all of this and more!
If you are unsure of your career goals, unsure what buttons to press, require clarity, or need to overcome a particular hurdle we can work on this together. If you are more career savvy but need practical help overcoming some short-term career barriers, again, we can work together to overcome these preventors of progress.
If you like the idea of short-circuiting the process, having an industry expert on your side as you navigate your way through your job search and recruitment journey, then I’m here to guide and support you through your career transition, far more effectively and quicker than travelling alone.
What if I don’t know what I want?
That’s not a problem.
We can chat through your current situation and figure out where you are at and which service is the best solution for your current career transition challenge.
How much does it cost?
It varies depending on the consultation or program. The longer the program, the more the program is discounted.
To make it manageable, we can look at an instalment repayment plan (starting from £75 p/m) or I can accept settlement by credit card. I will always try to find a route through to make it workable for you.
I realize that it can be financially unsettling during your career transition, however, this is an investment in your career that will serve you well beyond your next step career move. And let’s not forget these services are designed to help you secure your next step career move (+ higher earning capacity) quicker and more effectively than if you were transitioning alone, which means earning sooner too as well as better propositioning your value and the package you deserve, rather than the package you can get.
I am confident that my services will make that vital difference you need them to and you will see immediate value in the return on your investment.
If I take up your services, am I guaranteed a job at the end of it?
I think it would be flippant even reckless if any career services provider claimed to do so.
However, my services will certainly make a big difference and will provide you the tools, strategies and knowledge to sharpen up your job search activity and achieve your next step career ambitions far more effectively and much quicker than if you were job searching alone. This expert guidance and support will also set you up beyond your next move.
You can’t unlearn or undo the toolkit, knowledge, protocols and strategies you will discover. Have a look here to see some before and after stories from clients I have worked with recently.
Why should I work with Ginnie?
All sorts of reasons! But essentially, it will make a big difference and you will turn a corner.
I have a 360-degree insider insight into all aspects of job search and career transition.
I successfully ran my own recruitment business for 11 years and have worked in HR and hired in industry prior to this. I have been head-hunted and I have also been a job-searching candidate. I have insight into every aspect of career transition and most essentially I know how the system works, keeping very close to the sector.
I also see transition, turnaround and progression in everyone I support. I find my coaching work particularly rewarding, seeing career challenges overcome and next step career objectives achieved.
Individual thoughts on their experiences when working with me
How does the coaching session work? Can I just book one coaching session?
Of course. My coaching sessions last typically 90 minutes. We may run over, but that’s fine by me. This time will be focused on you and the career transition challenges you face.
All my coaching sessions are conducted on a one-to-one basis, they offer a safe space and will remain confidential. We can meet face to face at my office in Nottinghamshire, or if you prefer, we can meet virtually via Zoom.
We can meet at a time to suit your schedule, I’m totally flexible.
Can I get this level of support from my Leadership Coach or Wellness Coach?
Probably not, as their expertise is in a different field.
My expert, bespoke professional services are purely focussed on everything Job Search and Career Transition.
This customised support can be immediate and practical help, for example – what buttons to press, action planning and mapping, devising strategizes, working with recruiters, building your own campaign, maximising LinkedIn; or they can be transitional, working on clarifying and achieving career goals; or the support can be mentoring, check-in guidance, sense-checking as well as repositioning your mindset and building your confidence.
How do I know your services will help me and it is worth the investment?
Good question! The best way I can evidence this, is for you to take a look at what others have said about my services and understand more about their experiences
In addition, a few stats from a recent client survey reflected these results:-
- 100% without exception, said they would recommend Ginnie to others
- 100% without exception, agreed that the services provided offered value for money, in fact 33% would have paid more
- 75% of respondents rated Ginnie 10/10
- 80% rated Ginnie atleast 8/10 or more in terms of how these services helped overcome barriers
I’m keen to get started quite quickly – what’s your timescales like?
If you have an urgent need, we can discuss timescales and I will always try to accommodate as best as I can. Like anyone’s diary, it can ebb and flow, but I will always try to find a route through.
Why don’t I just carry on as I am - I can do this myself right?
You can certainly continue without support, it’s entirely your choice, but let me remind you of the wise words from Albert Einstein ..
“insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting something different”
I guess it depends on how keen you are to change ..
I don’t understand something and need further clarification - I am curious about something.
If you require further clarification or elaboration on anything, just drop me a note
